Prime Minister invites top leaders of allied parties

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has extended an invitation to the top leaders of political parties that participated in the simultaneous movement against the fascist government, for a dinner. The event is scheduled to be held on Monday, July 20, at 7:30 PM at the state guest house Jamuna.

Atiqur Rahman Rumon, Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, confirmed this information. He stated that the Prime Minister has organized this dinner in honor of the leaders of the allied parties of the simultaneous movement. During the event, the Prime Minister will exchange greetings with the political leaders.

He further informed that approximately 150 leaders from the allied parties of the simultaneous movement have been invited to this gathering at the state guest house Jamuna. The Prime Minister’s invitation letters have already been delivered to the invitees.

The Additional Press Secretary also mentioned that members of the BNP National Standing Committee will be present at the event.

Notably, this marks the first formal meeting between Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman and the top leaders of the allied parties of the simultaneous movement, since the BNP formed the government after winning a majority of seats in the Thirteenth National Parliament elections held on February 12.
