However, Argentine captain Lionel Messi gave a special gift to his teammates as a farewell gesture. This was recently revealed by Kelsy-Rose Bowers, the girlfriend of Argentine defender Marcos Senesi.

Kelsy-Rose recently published a video on social media, where she showcased the special gift given by Messi.

In the video, Kelsy-Rose, wearing an Argentina jersey, was seen displaying a brown bag. The bag featured the logo of the Argentine Football Association (AFA), an image of the World Cup, and the name ‘Marcos Senesi’.

At the beginning of the video, Kelsy-Rose said, ‘I have to show you guys something really cool. You will be very happy to see this. Marcos brought this bag from the championship. It also has his name written on it.’

She then revealed the gift’s nature, saying, ‘This is his mate set. Messi gave this gift to all the players.’

Inside the bag were a golden Stanley thermos with Messi’s brand logo, a mate cup, a packet of yerba, and a metal straw with a spoon.

Kelsy-Rose mentioned that Senesi entrusted her with the responsibility of taking care of the gift. She said, ‘Marcos gave this to me to keep safe so I can take it to Miami.’

She then showed the yerba that came with the gift in the video.

The video quickly spread across social media after its release. It brought to light an intimate moment of the Argentine team after the World Cup. It is reported that Messi personally gave this gift to each of his teammates.
